But check out 1 Cor 10;23 in the green bible, but read right across the 2 columns. Hilarious. This only works in the green version.
Lets see how many spot it.......

Most Awkward, Embarrassing, Comical things you Experienced as a Witness ?
by flipper inmany of us i'm sure experienced embarrassing or comical moments as a witness.
some things we'd rather just forget , i'm sure, but some things helped us think on our feet, quickly in helping others .
here are a few of mine.

Some really good anecdotes there. So how about these -
During a talk on the service meeting about refurbing the hall,3 elders were giving ideas on how it should be done, decorwise. One of them was a sweet old man who everybody liked but he was'nt very wordly wise. He was telling us about the wallpaper and paint and colour scheme etc,and how he would like a dildo rail around the wall. He was oblivious to the other elders with tears running down their cheeks and most of the cong with their shoulders shaking with suppressed laughter. What made it even funnier was his wife turned round and said 'Why is every body laughing?'
Another time I was on the ministry with my gran some years ago when we knocked a door,a lady came to the door, which was a full panel of frosted glass, and behind this glass was a bloke barking like a dog to scare us away.......
If I think of any more I'll post em.

Night Guards at Twickenham
by Duncan ina very enjoyable part of my job these last few years has been entertaining clients with corporate hospitality at the rugby union international matches at twickenham.
i work for a software company, as finance director, and these events such as the six nations, or the annual barbarians tour - provide companies such as mine a valuable opportunity to spend time with customers and prospects and try to interest them in our products, or at least get them to be favourably disposed to the company.
sponsorship of rugby matches like this is actually quite a smart move marketing-wise.

Yeh,its your fault, but they were good days and I thoroughly enjoyed doing it,in fact i organised my wedding so I could do one last one!!
There was one lad who was notoriuosly bad at getting up for his shift,we used to sell tickets outside the dorm to choose who would try and wake him,one time we ended up stuffing a used tea bag in his mouth, and then he thought he was dreaming!!! Lovely lad.

This is my first post!! Nervous?? Its worse than giving an instruction talk!!!
However,I loved the experiences from Twickers,as i too was a night guard at Manchester for 2 years in the 80's.Very similar experiences but we didn't have Ice cream vans,we had burger vans!!!! Wicked eh? And they were much better than the wet bacon rolls we used to get there!!
I can remember eating curry at 4 in the morning, didn't do my constitution any good I can tell you!! And of course we had the over zealous ones who were there to do the job,I was only there for a laugh and to meet new friends. I still have the pics we took, the offical one on the pitch, taken before the groundsman could see us and chase us off, andmost of them are like me not dubs any more. Some good lads there!!
Any way,tis late. I will speak again soon. Good to be here.
